Trauma is a result of an overwhelming sense of danger, powerlessness, and fear. Healing is a result of feeling safe, empowered, and supported. At Project 1442 we see, believe, and support you. Giving those that have survived trauma and violence spaces that offer support, a secure base, and opportunity to re-establish what it feels like to be safe, is something as a collective we can do. We have a responsibility to help and show up for those in need. At Project 1442 we are giving you a place to drop the pain and find support amongst those that know, understand, and have been there too. Project 1442 is a reflection of the definition of humanity— the collectiveness of humankind and living amongst and connecting with others empathetically and with compassion. Project 1442 support groups are about coping and healing collectively.
