Clinical Supervision

Stage I — Licensure Readiness

Clinical supervision for California APCCs pursuing LPCC licensure, supporting clinical development while completing supervised hours toward independent licensure. Supervision focuses on case conceptualization, clinical decision-making, assessment and treatment, with particular attention to trauma, attachment, and relational dynamics. Structure and frequency are determined by clinical needs and licensure requirements.

Individual Trauma Training

Stage II — Clinical Development & Training

One-on-one training in trauma, attachment, relational dynamics, case conceptualization, and clinical application. Sessions strengthen therapists’ understanding of complex presentations and their ability to conceptualize and approach trauma in individual and relationship therapy.

One-on-one education helping therapists explore and identify a trauma specialization aligned with their clinical interests and professional goals. Sessions cover specialty areas, relevant clinical competencies, and opportunities for further development. Areas of focus may include complex trauma, PTSD, attachment, intimate partner violence, and trauma within relationships.

Stage IV — Independent Practice

One-on-one education for therapists preparing to establish an independent practice. Sessions address the clinical and professional considerations of private practice, including defining services, identifying a client population, developing a specialization, and establishing a practice structure that reflects the therapist’s expertise and professional direction.

Stage V — Professional Expansion

One-on-one education for therapists exploring the next phase of their professional development. Sessions focus on identifying opportunities for growth, clarifying professional direction, and expanding how clinical expertise can be applied within and beyond clinical practice.
